“I belong in the saddle, for I’ve been there since I was three. Still, I love dresses and everything that goes with them!”

About Cowboy's Sweetheart
My life, in many ways, has resembled a Spaghetti Western film…. I emerged in the late 1960s, and was co-produced by an Italian. After graduating from art school, I high-tailed it to the American Southwest and, typical of the genre, became immersed in a culture of minimal funds, dramatic standoffs, unexpected plot-twists, artistic camera angles, and raw, explosive action scenes. A low-budget, highly fluid, minimalist, creative lifestyle has been the result. Audiences have enjoyed it, and my jewelry has come to be held in high regard.

Boss Lady, Creative Outlaw, Word Wrangler... I'm here to stir up the imagination and spur creativity with other like-hearted people who buck conformity and choose inspired, fulfilled lives.
As Chief Visionary Officer at Cowboy’s Sweetheart Jewelry, I find purpose and inspiration in creativity, crafting unique, hand-made jewelry from ethically-sourced gemstones, recycled sterling silver, 14k gold, pearls, and leather. My designs are influenced by the vibrant spirit of the American West and the remarkable women of its history—cowgirls and mountain women known for their determination, independence, adventurous spirit, and colorful language.
At Cowboy’s Sweetheart, my mission is to empower women to transform self-limiting beliefs, celebrate their achievements, and honor their unique talents through beautifully crafted jewelry. My collections not only enhance personal style but also inspire women to recognize their worth and embrace their individuality. Remember, you don’t have to hold the horse reins to hold the attitude. A cowgirl attitude is about embracing life with passion, confidence, and a sense of adventure!

Tiny Shop, Big Heart
Shop in Gold Hill, CO
Inspired by the tiny house movement, I traded the art fair circuit for a tiny log-and-chink shop on wheels, parked in the heart of Gold Hill, Colorado — a historic western mountain town just miles from the Continental Divide and downtown Boulder. I sell my jewelry there seasonally, alongside a general store, restaurant, lodge, gift shop, and museum. Recently, I added a small solar panel to power the lights, making it an off-grid, low-overhead, woman-owned delight.
The shop is generally open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day, Wednesday thru Sunday evenings from 4pm-8pm or by appointment. Please keep in mind, shop hours are somewhat dependent on the weather, as conditions can change quickly at 8,400 feet in elevation.
WTF
Your most frequently asked questions finally answered
Why the name "Cowboy's Sweetheart"?
I draw my inspiration from the natural landscape of the American West and from the women trailblazers of rodeo's golden age. I named my business after them because they were never anybody's passive sweetheart — they were the whole damn show. The name is a little wink, and a whole lot of heart.
Is each piece truly handmade?
Yes. Every single piece is created by me in my Gold Hill, Colorado studio. No mass production. Just my hands, my tools, and a whole lot of intention.
What's the difference between ready-to-ship and pre-order pieces?
Ready-to-ship pieces are finished and available to ship immediately—buy today, and it goes out promptly.
Pre-order pieces are crafted specifically for you after you place your order. They're my own designs with the same care, quality, and ethically-sourced materials as everything else I make—just created fresh for you rather than waiting on a shelf.
The quality, ethics, and intention behind every piece? Non-negotiable, regardless of whether it's ready-to-ship or made-to-order.
Can I see pieces in person before buying?
Absolutely. I have a seasonal shop in Gold Hill, Colorado (generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Wednesday-Sunday evenings, 4pm-dark). I also participate in select trunk shows and markets—join the email list to find out where I'll be next!
Do you take custom orders?
Yes! I love creating custom pieces that are variations of my existing work as time allows. Pricing depends on materials, complexity, and timeline. Contact me to start a discussion about your ideas.
What's your return/exchange policy?
Your satisfaction is my heart's desire. If you don't absolutely love your jewelry when it arrives for any reason, just contact me within 7 days of receipt and I'll gladly exchange it. (I'm pretty sure you're going to love it though...)
All custom orders are non-refundable.
