The Sweetheart Fund
Give a Little, Help a Lot
This is a simple idea born from a simple truth: sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for another human being is show up with something made by hand and offered with love.
I've been crafting jewelry since forever. In that time, some of the most meaningful pieces I've ever made weren't sold. They were given — to someone navigating grief, to a community blindsided by disaster, to a stranger who just needed to know the world still held beauty.
The Sweetheart Fund is how I keep that going.
When you contribute, your dollars join a small pool of compassion that I draw from at my discretion — when I see a need that a handmade piece of silver and stone can meet. This could be a finished piece donated to a disaster relief fundraiser, something sent to someone having the hardest year of their life, or a reminder, worn close to the body, that they are not forgotten.
I won't always be able to share the details as kindness sometimes asks for privacy, but I promise every dollar goes toward something real, human, and made with intention.
There is always someone in the circle who is grieving quietly, surviving steadily, or carrying more than anyone knows. This fund is for them. Maybe that's someone you love. Maybe, right now, it's you.
It's like a campfire. You throw some wood on it, I'll tend the flame.
There is no reward tier or receipt of goods… Just the quiet knowledge that your generosity is in good hands, ready to do something that matters.
Contributions are not tax-deductible and are managed entirely at my discretion as the maker.
Jewelry Materials + Care
Sterling Silver Care:
Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time—that's just chemistry, not a flaw! Here's how to keep it shining:
- Store in a cool, dry place (airtight bags help prevent tarnish)
- Polish with a soft cloth or use a silver polishing cloth
- Avoid wearing in chlorine, saltwater, or while using harsh chemicals
- Remove before showering or exercising
I'm always happy to answer care questions—just reach out!
If, over time, your silver jewelry becomes tarnished, use a soft, non-abrasive polishing cloth specifically designed for silver to clean it. These cloths often contain special polishing agents that help remove tarnish. Gently rub the silver jewelry with the cloth. Focus on tarnished areas, applying a bit more pressure if needed, but avoid excessive force to prevent scratching. Store your silver jewelry in a cool, dry place, preferably in an anti-tarnish pouch or cloth to help prevent future tarnishing.
Turquoise & Gemstone care
Turquoise and most gemstones are more delicate than metal.
Avoid exposing them to chemicals, or dropping them onto hard surfaces. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. With proper care, they'll last lifetimes.
