Barn swallows in Colorado move through the air with effortless grace, a choreography of sharp turns and gliding curves that seems both playful and purposeful. At dusk, they gather in loose, swirling groups, darting and swooping as the sun sets behind the mountains. These sweet, sterling silver barn swallow earrings capture the essence of that grace and freedom and are crafted with intricate detailing that highlights the bird's delicate wings and distinctive tail feathers. A gemstone briolette hangs down from the tail adding a touch of color and vibrancy to the overall design. Variations in turquoise are to be expected. Each shade of blue-green, each web of matrix, each subtle clouding or veining is the result of minerals, water, and pressure working together over millions of years. No two stones are ever the same, which makes every piece one-of-a-kind and alive with character.
These lovlies are 1” wide and approximately 1.5” long, hang from French wires. They are available in three styles: Turquoise , Labradorite, and Blue Chalcedony, and a matching necklace is also available.

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time—that's just chemistry, not a flaw! Here's how to keep it shining:

- Avoid wearing in chlorine, saltwater, or while using harsh chemicals
- Remove before showering or exercising

If, over time, your silver jewelry becomes tarnished, use a soft, non-abrasive polishing cloth specifically designed for silver to clean it. These cloths often contain special polishing agents that help remove tarnish. Gently rub the silver jewelry with the cloth. Focus on tarnished areas, applying a bit more pressure if needed, but avoid excessive force to prevent scratching. Store your silver jewelry in a cool, dry place, preferably in an anti-tarnish pouch or cloth to help prevent future tarnishing.
Turquoise & Gemstone care
Turquoise and most gemstones are more delicate than metal.
Avoid exposing them to chemicals, or dropping them onto hard surfaces. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. With proper care, they'll last lifetimes.
